I have been dating my BF for over 1 year. We got into a discussion 3 weeks ago about him not treating me the way he did when we met. I've tried to call, email and text him, but he has not responded. Should I just walk away and never try again, without an answer as to why he hasn't responded, or keep trying. I know what I would tell my girlfriends if it had happened to them. Your thoughts..please....

it's healthy to have communication, he could just be a bit upset, but he really should tell you that. then again, he is not treating you right and you would advise your girlfriends to walk away, perhaps thats your answer. its time we took our own advice. do whats right for yourself, perhaps he is not the one.

This is a form of control - shut up and put up. My ex did this to me all the time. If I dared to be critical of him he would shut down. Clam up. My boyfriend now never reacts that way. He usually just makes fun of me and we end up laughing at each other. I don't know how much you care about this guy, but if it were me, I'd let him come after me.

What other option do you have? To continue to pester him until he responds? Show up at his house and bang on the front door until he comes out?

I agree with the others. You have made contact so back off and leave the ball in his court. Seems like it would be the mature thing to do to let you know what he is feeling and why.

    I gave my 2 week notice last Friday 13th. Now to join you fine people in a life of leisure and nothing else to do but to look out for myself....is it just me or does that sound pretty boring? My goal was to live to retire and I guess having to take early retirement because of health reasons wasn't exactly the way I had planned things. I just can't stay in that building that is reeking mildew...

    I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
