I'm posting a question for a friend who is going through a divorce. She has 2 children who live with her full time in FL. Her EX lives in NJ with new girlfriend. There is a temporary court order for child support. The EX only pays half of the amount that is stated on the court order. What does she have to do to make him pay the full amount? Is he obligated to pay exactly what is stated on the court order? Can she do anything legally? Remember she is in FL and the divorce is in NJ jurisdiction. What steps can she take to ensure that her EX will pay proper child support?
