It was a beautiful day when he pulled up at an intersection near me recently. He was wearing a frayed t-shirt, plaid shorts, a "Miller High-Life" ball cap turned backwards, and old sneakers. I slowly surveyed his body: tan, hairy legs, muscular arms and strong shoulders. I liked the way his hair curled up around his baseball hat, and I liked how his skin looked dirty, salty and sweaty. Even though I never saw his face, I imagined him leaning over to kiss me as everything else fell away and we got down to business....then the stoplight changed and it was back to reality.
