What's your opinion and/or experience on using meds (ie. antidepressant, antianxiety) to help cope with the initial shock and pain? Of course I'm devastated and depressed. My world has just been shattered. I've started counseling and they were suggested. But then, I've also heard that "you must go through it before you can get over it." So will they really help or only delay the inevitable?
