I went to mediation today to try to work out a parenting agreement. Currently my stbx gets the kids every Tuesday night (overnight) and brings them home to me Wednesday morning. He also gets them every other weekend from Friday after school until Sundays at 4 p.m. My kids are 7 and 4. Today at the mediation the mediator try to pursway me into letting my stbx take the kids longer on his weekends like a Thursday thru Sunday or a Friday thru Tuesday. I totally do not agree with my kids being away from me and thier home for that long. Since my ex is shacking up with his lover I also have a big issue with the moral aspect of this. Am I totally being unreasonable or should I be letting him have more time? My idea is that we keep the schedule that same that it is now and add one day a week to the schedule but not an overnight. Just a few hours for dinner, etc. I dated my stbx for 8 years before we got married. I did not choose to have kids and be a part-time parent! I felt this was my stbx's choice as he never attempted any type of counseling. We have to go back to mediation next week Tuesday April 2nd. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
