Quick question? For those who were married and now seeing the opposite side, is it good to have a joint account while married and still maintain a separate account to safeguard yourself? of course, i had a huge fight with my spouse about it at the time and told him a woman needs security, and I sure wasn't going to deposit all my salary in a joint account, but would be happy to split up expenses. He was pissed about it and said everything should be together because his default was "together" and I was being selfish. Of course, Few months later, he filed for divorce and took out all the money from the joint account without me knowing! a woman's intuition, perhaps....?? Any advice for those who was gotten married, divorced, or either? Money is always a huge argument for couples, it seems.
