How do you know if someone is an alcoholic? My ex would drink anywhere from 8-13 beers a night. Whenever I tried to talk to him about it he would get defensive, angry and it would start a fit. Just before we split he went out of his way to lie to me to tell me that a friend of his came over and drank 5 of his beers when I didn't even ask him in the first place. I told him if he didn't stop drinking i would leave him. He did stop for a month but we ended up splitting up anyway. We share our home until it sells. When it is his turn with our son I stay somewhere else. I often wonder if he is still drinking. I found a beer can in the basement a week ago.I assume he takes all empties when he leaves so I don't know. My ?'s are: he would always go to work everyday, he was never "drunk", or sick or stumbling or anything at all but like I said he always had 8-12 a night. Is that an alcoholic? Is it likely he is still drinking? I worry about our son there alone w/ him at night.

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
