DANCE OF THE BLADES
November 6, 2007
Dance of the blades, minuet for two.
Weapons in hand as payment comes due.
Betrayal in mind delivers lethal blows,
uncertain who they are, unsure of what they know.
Deceit of the heart binds truth with fear.
What to throw away, what to hold dear.
Entangled by the past. It seems theres no escape.
Battered and frayed, how much can they take?
Glint of cold steel afresh with their blood.
It rends their flesh, and yet they both stood.
Pirouette to position, ready to defend
All their past deeds-to the bitter end.
Too busy to notice what they have lost,
Only wanting to win, whatever the cost.
No tears to shed as pain smother all.
One more stone, one more rock piled onto the wall.
Anguish and sorrow sever whats left.
You cant hear the words when your hearts deaf.
Who will fall first? What does it matter?
The dance continues till theyre torn and tattered.
No armor withstands what rips them apart.
Both confused, both hurting, how did this all start?
If only I could end all this pain and misery.
To rest for just a moment, I pray to feel free.
Trust takes its last breath, certain of the end.
Dace of the blades spares none to mend.

This is how I am feeling.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
