I can't believe I am Really HERE!!!! My GF has given up and gone to bed...I am using her computer. OMG...I am free.
An amazing thing happened on the first part of the flight. I thought that I was "OK"...well, when the plane started to taxi, and then we were over the fields...I was a bit teary. No...I wasn't sobbing or anything Noticable...but the person on the aisle seat Cared. No huge thing...just got water...for ME that was Huge, I can't explain it. It was Kindness.
We ended up talking everything from JC Watts to Road Conditions in California all the way to Dallas. It felt so GOOD to just Talk and Laugh.
It was a great flight...I got totally lost at DFW because I wasn't paying attention to what terminal I was supposed to go to...thought they would repeat-they didn't :-/ Their shuttle service is interesting. I should KNOW better, oh well...
Anyway, against all odds, I made it. I am hugging someone elses boxers tonight.

I gave my 2 week notice last Friday 13th. Now to join you fine people in a life of leisure and nothing else to do but to look out for myself....is it just me or does that sound pretty boring? My goal was to live to retire and I guess having to take early retirement because of health reasons wasn't exactly the way I had planned things. I just can't stay in that building that is reeking mildew...

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
Return is through Chicago, will see if I can get lost There, too...pretty sure I can. :-D Take my GPS away and Nothing is Safe.
