I am so sorry. I wish there was something I could say or do to help. The best thing you can do is give your wife some space, she may realize how much she loves you... Right now she may just need time to think. Try as hard as it is to think positive. God can perform miracles.

i agree with tracy...give her some space, you don't want to scare her away and you don't want to beg! It is VERY hard right now, I am so sorry you are hurting...I'd hold you if i could, just to give you a shoulder to cry on and arms for support. Stay with us Breese...

You have posted in the past that she has admitted to still loving you but that she is confused let her breath a little and figure out on her own if she wants to make it work. It doesn't work if only one wants it too.

I don't know what to say but I am right there with you. I agree with the others. give her a little space. I know that is hard to do. I am at over 4 months and I still call and e-mail almost everyday. I know this is just pushing him further away. Stay on here, journal and keep posting.
I know it is not what you feel like doing right now but get out and do stuff. Go to a movie, sports, drinks with some buddies. It does help. I am glad that you found this community. These people here have been lifesavers for me.

Thank you so much for your support. I dont know how to thank you. I wish giving her space wasn't so hard. I pray that the damage has not already been done.....but at the same time, she was letting me believe that she wanted my pursuit....over the last three months, we have made love like 8 times....and I have been in El Paso for 80% of the time. I dont believe it was just for the physical sake of sex....it was out of desire and love, too.

think of it this way: when she fall in love with you in the first place, you've been strong and cheereful young man. if you now show her a weak, depressed man, why would she have any wish to go back to such? you not just giving HER time to think, you also give time to YOURSELF to get back to be the man she fall in love times ago.

You could be right. She might like the chase, but you need to stay strong, be confident, and don't chase her. The best way for her to realize she mad a mistake, is for her to have the opportunity to miss you. You are a nice (good looking) guy, and it sucks that you are going through this, but we are here to support you when you need it.

Don't chase her, or you will seem desperate.

You can give her space but you have rights to your children.

I just want to add that i wish you both could get counseling. Even if she does want her space right now, seeing someone who can help her work out the issues would be helpful.

it IS a nightmare!! i have begged him on my knees to come back home to me and the kids...it's hard for me to see it, but i didn't make him leave. it was his choice, and i can only control me and my choices.
