If you knew a couple who was getting married for the first time, what advise would you give them on their marriage? Would you re-marry again? Why or why not?

I always give the advice to laugh together..when you laugh, no other feelings can get in the way! and of course, I wish them the best.

I would suggest counseling before getting married. Secondly, I would share my sad tale of a nineteen year marraige ending. They could make their own minds up after that. I will remarry again because I really like sharing my life with someone. My task now is getting to know myself well enough, and getting mentally healthy enough so that I choose someone who is healthy also.

Take time for each other on a weekly basis. Never neglect Love.

I am a hopeless romantic and a realistic optimist. If I met someone who shared the same interests and hopes, yes.

Two things. Never take your partner for granted and always be honest about everything.

Love is not about how you forgive but how you forget, not what you see but what you feel, not how you listen but how you understand, and not how you let go....but how you hold on.

I would just tell them to be happy together. I don't know about marrying again. Maybe someday, but it would be hard.

i would say, be quick to listen and slow to anger. and i would love to get married again. perhaps there is someone special out there for me. and if not, that's ok to.

forgivness and understanding are needed thoughout a marriage. And go on dates after you have kids...and be good to yourself and your spouse. Love is grand, repect it.

No advice except perhaps a pre-nuptial agreement. I don't think everyone is like me.
I don't think I will ever get married again. I am not the kind to like to have someone else running my life and as a woman that tends to happen. I am not saying I don't want a SO, I just don't want to have to go through a huge legal hassle if it doesn't work out.

    I gave my 2 week notice last Friday 13th. Now to join you fine people in a life of leisure and nothing else to do but to look out for myself....is it just me or does that sound pretty boring? My goal was to live to retire and I guess having to take early retirement because of health reasons wasn't exactly the way I had planned things. I just can't stay in that building that is reeking mildew...

    I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
