Are there any other women who have left their family home to their husband in the divorce. Just about everyone I know who is divorced or separated has stayed in their home or sold it and went their separate ways. It feels like he will always have an advantage over me because my daughter will think of it as her home. I am leaving her bedroom in tact and he is keeping most of the furniture, so it won't change much after I am gone. I will make our new home as much to her liking as I can but it won't be the same.
