Saw the X this Saturday night at a local pub. Happenstanced that a guy comes in and sits next to me and we chat. Turns out the guy I'm chatting with is a cop! I don't even know this cop but when we got talking he said he heard about my situation and that the X goes every where I go and stares at me the whole time. So, he said let's rile him up. Now I wouldn't ordinarily do this but I figured what the heck, why not? If nothing else the X must have seen the shield in the guys vehicle parked right outside the door and if nothing else maybe it's a little safety net sending the message "stay away unless you want to go back to jail". The cop was priceless! Every time the X went outside, the cop would stroll around the pub, open the door, take a look out...definitely sending the signal to the X that he had his eye on him and to watch his Ps and Qs. I just had to share this and laugh a bit because the only thing the X is afraid of is the law.

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
