Here is another question that I have thought about. In Maryland you have to be separated for a year before you can get a divorce. My question is you all start to date someone during that separation or honor that year of separation and not date. My point of view is that I still see stbx and I as a legal married couple. We may be apart but we are still married. Call me whatever, but I want to honor that last year of our marriage and not date anyone. I feel that it is the right thing to do. I think for me that maybe things could turn around during that year. I don't think things will but what if it does. Plus I don't want to bring someone new into my life who has to deal with all that is going on with the separation and divorce. I know that my stbx will probably not honor the separation and start seeing someone. What do you all think.
