Should I call this new disability company my ex is trying to get on with to let them know that he is going to Russia for three weeks? I'd say if he's well enough to endure the plane ride and strong enough to visit a country that doesn't have top health care, he's all right to work. It's not Social Security Insurance, it's through one of the insurance companies that are out there and I'm not sure if it's long term or short term disability. But if I call them, it will terminate his attempts at getting insurance and he will ultimately have to get a job. Then again, I might be shooting myself in the foot, because my support payments were based on what he's supposed to get for disabililty. But here's the thing, the insurance company he is currently trying to get disability through keeps pushing off his case for another 30 days and they've been doing that for about three months now.
