sounds like a sociopath to me! i could have written this myself. The story is so sick and twisted no one would even believe it. sickening.....

I have never heard the expression " Street angel, house devil" that sums up my ex.

Mine plays the "poor me" card. Even though everyone knows how he is, they feel sorry for him, when he cries and says he will never do it again. Mean while, everyone turns thier backs on me. I look at it as I know who my real friends are.

My stbx was recently diagnosed as a sociopath. Great guy, everyone loved him, I was the envy of all of my friends, when I would say that I was happy NOONE got what I could possibly mean. I should thank him though, at least he had the decency to screw up so badly that noone questions me about leaving him now.

Oops...I meant to say that when I would say that I was NOT happy. Duh!

He said he had to tell the guy's wives it was an open marriage, because he wanted them to accept OW... and if they accepted OW as his mistress, their husbands would think they were OK with cheating, and try it themselves...

I was I had emails for all these people, I would put them straight...

Charm is a skill, not a character trait. And if you wish to be deceived you will be. I tell my kids all the time that bad guys get what they want by being nice to people.

Unless you lived, or worked with him, you didn't see the explosive temper or the total unwillingness to EVER see Anything from another point of view.

People saw the money, the THINGS. They judged me from That. So I got yelled at-stay in my Place and That wouldn't happen.

So I was Lonely-too damned bad...go live my own life and leave him be. Be Thankful.

Yeah, watch out for those "Good Guys"...they have superficial friend that protect them. They let NO ONE in close enough to see the truth-those people back off quickly.

Mine doesn't have a temper, I only saw him get mad once in 16 years, but it is the suave, coolness, everyone's friend!!! Using me as a butt of jokes occasionally... riding in on his white horse, saving the OW from the poverty of Eastern Europe... her Mom has no idea he is/was married... he was their saviour!!!

Gag... give me a break... he feels entitled... told me "politicians lie all the time, what's the big deal"... isn't this some thing about grandios comples or something? He grew up very poor, and like to show off what he has become, successful, (was rich before my lawyer came into the picture), saw no problem with him flying business class while expecting daughter and I to sit in economy (same flight).

Spent hordes of money he didn't have to impress people, and then complained to me that we have to 'cut-back and watch our spending"... WE???

My X is also a great guy-Only me an my daughter saw his dark side-He was so great in the beginning-I blamed myself for the transformation-I still do sometimes-

Mine was the same way!!! Everyone that meets him thinks he's fabulous. After some of my friends and family really got to know him and heard of his antics, their views changed though. Don't worry, as fake as they are, their true nature can't help but shine through to people with half a brain.
