My boyfriend just became divorced this past month. He went through a nasty divorce that took over 2 years to complete. He ended up giving his ex-wife the house, all the furniture, car, and is paying over 1000 per month in child support. He has his 5 year old son ever other weekend and gets 3 weeks of vacation with him a year. During the divorce, we followed all the rules when he had his son, I did not stay the night. We thought once the divorce was over that would change, that we would be able to go on vacation together with his son. We are suppose to be going to the beach in 3 days for a week with his son. His ex-wife called and said if I find out that your girlfriend is going with you to the beach, I will call an emergency court trial and will not let our son go with you. She said even though they are divorced I am not allowed to spend the night when the son is present. Is this the case? When will she be able to move on with her life and let us move on with ours? I don't know how to make this better. I don't want to take her place at all, I just want to be able to create a happy life for us. I need advice, what would a judge rule on this? My boyfriend and I don't know if we ever want to marry again...but that would mean I would never be able to spend the night when his son is over...it just seems crazy to me! Help!

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
