Seriously I wouldn't put it on the lawn, be the biggr person, you will feel better about you.
Good luck!
if you have a garage put it there, otherwise wait... go for coffee when he is getting his stuff or have a friend over
but.. butt.. butttttttt... look.. do you want this business finished?.. done with?.. or do you want to drag it on?... I mean.. he can take you to small claims court to get reimbursed for the damaged, missing furniture... yup... and then you will not feel so good.
so... call him.. tell him you need to get the stuff out... and be patient.. be the stronger and more in control adult here.
be well.. (((HUGS)))
GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
Looking back I did the right thing.
I would give him some time and try to ask a few times, then,do what you will with it. I still have small crap here from the ex and it encourages her to call and harrass me and balme me for holding it hostage. Next time my line is:
"You want your stuff, please come get it. If you cna be here in 5 minutes, you can catch it as I throw it from the balcony."
But my situations has been many months. so give it some time but not forever.
