OK guys, read the other post about truly being alone. So I don't qualify since I have kids. I just want to give hugs to all of you because I feel the pain but at least my kids are there for me. You all are awesome!! HUGS

I can feel your pain of being alone even if you have kids.. However, the quiet of being truely alone is what gets me! I can hear the clock ticking in the living room!!!

See my list of better off in the "better off thread"..lol...over 50 reasong I am better off. Really, alone is whatever you can make of it. I will take that any time over the ex around.

I can make alone good wihtout the jerk poking...with pain in the ass and all, I can only put up with one pain int eh ass at a time

Alone gets better over time and with self growth. I actually perfer it at times now. That is HUGE for me. On my profile I wrote I HATE ALONE!! I always have, until I learned to like being with me more. Work on you, do things just for you! Be selfish, it can be very pleasing. Hang in there and figure out what makes you happy (that doesn't include others), then go for it no matter how crazy it may seem. Treat yourself to whatever YOU want! YOU deserve it!

    I gave my 2 week notice last Friday 13th. Now to join you fine people in a life of leisure and nothing else to do but to look out for myself....is it just me or does that sound pretty boring? My goal was to live to retire and I guess having to take early retirement because of health reasons wasn't exactly the way I had planned things. I just can't stay in that building that is reeking mildew...

    I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
