Whats up with these fake accounts. People sending messages and saying to chat with them on yahoo. What kind of scam is this?

this whole internet thing can be crazy. i'm on myspace now. i got this e-mail from this beautiful young woman wanting to be involved with me and wanting to have me do a compatability list. i'm not a lesbian, i have no pictures up, i don't even know how to use the sight yet. it's rediculous.

It is a scam. It's an email phishing scam. once you contact them on Yahoo, they have your email address for spam. Just report all those messages to Doug.

It was just hillarious had a pic of a woman who obviously was copied from some fashion mag. Just wondering if they were trying to scam me, if anyone had been scammed from an online site before

well as for the chatting on Yahoo.. that was a group of us who could not access Chatzy the other night. Chatzy was down for a day at least.

Lost got us all on a conference chat on Yahoo and we did our meet there, @12 of us were there at some point. It was good dialogue btw.

I've received 2 this week already. One was from some guy from somehwere lol saying he thought I was cute....but kept referring to me as if I was a woman! lol
And the other one was just as screwed up too....when I clicked to check profile it said "this account has been deleted" something to that effect....... DS has now been infiltrated somehow with the spammers lol

    theatre and I are there already. I'm having a very berry tea with crackers, cheese and cherry tomatoes and she's having a joint with some beer and we're both on really comfy recliners on thick pile carpet. we need some help with the decor if anyone is around??
