At church this morning, the priest took a quick poll to see how many people celebrated by going out last night. Out of around 100 people, only a handful said they went out. Then the priest wanted to bless the married couples in church...again only 9 couples stood up. Amazingly, this was in a Catholic church. In a way, this makes me feel a little better about my situation, and my quiet Valentine's Day with my kids. At least I can see that I'm not alone in my loneliness!
