My STBX could never remember our schedules either, he just didn't care enough to know when anything was going on unless it was something HE was doing.....jacka**!

Right there with ya! My hubby always calls and asks if he can pick up "his son" from school and do something on Wednesdays. But every Wednesday for years my son has his therapy. Duhhh. Of course he doesn't want to participate with the Therapies.

What really gets me is he expects me to be his secretary for him. You know plan and get things ready, do his christmas shopping, buy the kids all their stuff. I told him one day the kids need shoes. He's like ....well I thought we should go together to do that.... NOT. So he got out of that for playing stupid. Again just like our marriage. If it doesn't pertain to his penis then he's not interested in doing it. Useless!!!

Mine never remember anythign so he asks a dozen times a day if there is anything on the schedule, but when it comes to his hunting and fishing he always knows his schedule.

Yeah, mine thinks with the little head, too. Thanks for letting me know I'm not alone here. Really feels that way now.

well, I am there with you, constantly reminding her. Yesterday she went to get my son from dance class, but because of holiday week, there's no dance, which I told her in EMAIL and TEXT message... very frustrating...

Ok I'm going to defend my former husband here, not the recent ex. My son was VERY active in HS and his father knew 6 nights a week rifle practice, followed by various other activities to include: French Club, ROTC drill practice, National Honor Society, Pistol club, Civil War Club, Private coach night...and the man knew what night was what! I'm sure he had some schedule pasted on the dash board of his truck...but he knew!

not only did my stbx never remember anything, he would tell me I didn't tell him...........that would make me so mad. But again, if it had something to do with him then he remembered it

This only applies to my experience but since the truama of my ex's cheating my memory is completely shot and if I don't write everything down it just gets forgotten.
Did something truamatic happen to your ex, like a death in the family,car accident etc?

Anything traumatic that happened to him was his own doing, as the result of his addiction. He's been this way for years -- spending his energy trying to keep his lies straight, I guess -- but I'm tired of overlooking this behavior.

Okay, I confess. How did I manage to remember our anniversary every year? I had it written on garage wall above my tool box.
