I don't know if this is narcissistic behavior or not but I think I've read about it somewhere. What is it called when you blame others for what you've done? My husband does this kind of thing all the time. This last one floored me. We need our brakes repaired for the second time in like a year. I didn't say anything to my husband about why I thought this was happening though I know he rides them hard. Well the other day he said to me out of the blue that *I* need to stop riding the brakes! OMGosh, even the kids say he slams on the brakes and my son doesn't want to learn to drive like him at all. Almost every stop is a jolt with him and I've been riding with him a lot lately because he wrecked his car. I usually just hold my tongue when he says blatantly false things like that but this time I let him have it. Of course, it does no good to argue with him because he's always right. This has just happened so many times when I'm thinking about something he has done and he up and accuses me of doing it. Is there any help for people like this? I sometimes think he really believes the cr** that comes out of his mouth!
