The ex husband and I have been separated just over a year and divorced for a couple of months. I still live in the marital home as I cant afford to pay half the mortgage on that property and rent somewhere else as well. He has finally decided to see if the bank will let him transfer the mortgage into his sole name leaving me free to find a home of my own. Today he called and said I have to sign to change the mortgage correspondence address to his mothers address as the bank wont send his application form to my house since he no longer lives there, leaving me no option other than to agree to sign if I want rid of the house. Something seemed pretty fishy to me so I called the bank to check. They read me the notes from his call to them. Apparently he told them he didnt want correspondence coming to me, they even offered to send a copy of the correspondence to a second address so he wouldnt miss any communications but he refused. What a low life!!! I dont know what he is up to but in my eyes he just sunk to a new low in my estimation.
