Do the fights haunt you in Court?

While married we never called names or really yelled. We didn't fight about money. When the painful stuff reared its ulgy head it was always and terse conversation with a soulful ending usually on my part. Since the separation we've had 3 fights. I suspect he is recording them. Will the courts prosecute me because I called him a sexual deviant, a cop-out, a worthless father? I'm done calling names. I've in a better emotional place ....I'm not proud of being a name caller. I feel guilty. But I believe he encouraged these arguments to manipulate me and to find out what I know.

Those of you who have been to court---do the arguments haunt you?

I haven't been to court, but I don't think in Oregon that really matters. But we were the same, I have said Fuck you to him twice, I never even used the word until a year ago. But then I always feel bad and apologize. Yeah....

You are doing good if you have only had 3 fights. I fight with my stbx everytime we talk. He is always blaming me for something and it really pisses me off. I hope they don't hold it against you, but they should put there self in our shoes and see how they would feel.

I don't think so, unless you do it in court. Ask your attorney. And doesn't he need to tell you if he's recording you over the phone?

Divorce is an emotional upheaval. He can say anything in court, really unless you threatened to harm him or the children I doubt you have anything to worry about. For further fights, I suggest you cut off talking as soon as one breaks out, either over phone or in person.

    I have been here before, a long long time ago and now I am back.Forgive me for not just saying what I want to say,even under a triple dose of antidepressants it is still raw and seeping and I am hesitant at revealing it as at least under the bandages around my heart I don,t have to look at how raw and wounded.My child was cleaved from my heart by his own actions. my child of ten,turning eleven...

    theatre and I are there already. I'm having a very berry tea with crackers, cheese and cherry tomatoes and she's having a joint with some beer and we're both on really comfy recliners on thick pile carpet. we need some help with the decor if anyone is around??
