During the divorce my Ex only wanted to talk to me through the attorneys by claiming that there was a no contact order. (There were none) Now that the divorce is over and I have to deal with her directly on the items agreed on in the divorce. Before and during the divorce communications was imposable with her even through the attorneys for just about everything. Basically she filed and I did all the work and provided all the information.
My question is did you pretend that your ex did not exist or just not deal with even the simplest communications with your ex and why?

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
I talk almost in 3rd person it's so neutral. That works best for me.
Which btw was odd since we all lived the same house. I would only communicate to him in the hallway, kitchen.. wherever.. regarding the children and daily items.
I personally want to )&(&(^)^097 HIM!.. but I have to keep the venom in check until my youngest is of legal age .... she is 7 now.. going to be a long haul.
anyhow.. I think you have to keep it professional, matter of fact.. keep your emotions in check... prepare a script beforehand if that helps you stay on track... keep calm. You are the bigger person here.
Good luck.. I have to deal with actually seeing the EX almost every day cos we have 3 children and live in the same small community.
My STBX and I live in the same house still but I only ask questions via e mail. I try to limit conversation as much as possible.
