Well, tonight's the night that probably will make or break me. This is the first true night that I will be alone at home and I am pretty worked up about it. My boys were with me for the past three days, since she left, so I haven't been "alone". Well, tonight they go to their mom's (previous ex) for a week. I am scared, for lack of a better term, to home to an empty house. I thought that leaving the house without a "Have a good day" was hard. I can only imagine coming home to an empty house. No "hello, how was your day". No hearing kids bickering. Nobody there to cook supper for. Nothing. Nada. Zip. Thank God I have an appointment with my counselor tonight so I don't have to go straight home after work. Another thing that scares me is that I won't be able to deal with the deafening silence and make the five minute trip to the liquor store for something to help me deal. Anyone have any suggestions on the "first night alone" front?
