Breakups & Divorce Support Group
Just broke up with someone or in the midst of a difficult divorce? Breaking up is difficult no matter what the circumstances are. They say that time heals all wounds, but sometimes a listening ear or a hug can work wonders for the heart. Whether you need a place to vent, someone to hold you to No Contact, or need advice about what to do, we're here to help.
Talk about her.
Ask about her job, her family, her interests.
People love to talk about themselves.
(Disclaimer: This coming from a guy who hasnt dated in years...lol)
Listen to her, and ask questions about what she says.
Try to ask open-ended questions, and stay away from asking things that can be answered with a yes or a no.
Be yourself. And if part of that is being nervous, so be it. Women find that charming to a certain degree; mixed with confidence, they'll realize that you can handle yourself, but you don't have a heart of stone.
There's tons of other advice, but the biggest one is to just have fun.
Be yourself. Thats good advice.
Watch for body language. Trust me.
Listen to what she says as opposed to thinking about what you are going to say next.
Ease into discussion topics that you dont know much about....its SO easy to ask questions about those topics. (shows receptive listening traits and engagement in conversation.....double thumbs up)
