I am really not sure what to do and I need some help. My divorce decree says that child support will stop when my son starts college. My ex-husband will pay for college. The state of Oregon now passed a law that states that I can have my ex-husband continue to pay child support regardless of what the orginal divorce decree states. In order to change this my ex must get an attorney to draft papers that I sign stating that my son and I will waive chiild support. In the orginal divorce, I took less allimony so that my sons' college would be paid for. What does everyone think is fair?
