Well, Ickis had his surgery today and everything went terrific. The drawback is today was the first day that real pain was evident when I went to see him. He has an IV and they completely shaved his hind leg (which is kinda funny). His leg is in a temp cast and they will check him tomorrow and if his swelling isn't too bad he can come home. However, I've decided with the amount of pain he was in today, if it's the same tomorrow I will leave him one more day as he has another cat and 2 dogs to contend with here. He was SO happy to see me today it warmed my heart to see him respond even in his pain. Sis and I spent about 20 minutes with him then he got a bit worked up so we decided it was best to go. Love that little booger and can't wait to get him home.

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
