The problem that I'm having as of this moment, is that my girlfriend left me because I had drug and alchohol problems and as a result didn't treat her as well as I should've. However, as I now try to get myself sober and pick up the pieces of my tattered life, she seems to be the only friend I have left that understands what I've been going through and knows what I want to do with my life.
I only keep in contact with her now through MSN, but find that there are days when it's nice to talk to her, and there are days when I wish I didn't even open my damn messenger.
How do I move on with my life without giving up the bestest friend I've ever had thus far in my life?

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
Once you have recovered from the loss you can re-establish a friendship with her. Just my opinion.
