Im in a divorce/custody battle with an emotionally abusive, narsisstic, sociopath in Kane County. The separation has lasted for 3 years and the divorce battle has been the past 11/2. His attorney is vicious. Ive chosen attorneys that have all recognized my emotional trauma and have taken advantage of it, by elongating the process. We are almost to trial I believe that its true that a person will keep getting faced with a lesson until it is well learned. Well, Im ready to stand up and fight! Ive learned my lesson of being manipulated. (Finally!) I need a new attorney who will stand up for me and fight, like Ive learned to do.but I dont know who to trust or where to go. Documented physical abuse was involved, so I went to the local Abuse Counseling services for recommendations, but didnt get a straight answer there or an adequate referral. HELP! I need a bulldog!
