Breakups & Divorce Support Group
Just broke up with someone or in the midst of a difficult divorce? Breaking up is difficult no matter what the circumstances are. They say that time heals all wounds, but sometimes a listening ear or a hug can work wonders for the heart. Whether you need a place to vent, someone to hold you to No Contact, or need advice about what to do, we're here to help.
I know many wonderful men and women that are not liars, that I respect and admire.
I know many more of them since coming to this site.
OF COURSE NOT.
OF COURSE NOT.
For example:
-No, your butt looks just fine.
-Yes, those pants look great on you.
-No, I wasn't looking at her.
-Yes, I love being with your parents.
-No, nothing's changed, your butt still looks fine
So what would you rather us do? Tell you the truth and destroy you so you can call us a-holes, or lie to you and make you feel a little better?
Women have their own set of lies they tell, no so much for survival but because they realize that men can be pretty fragile sometimes:
-No honey, you're the biggest EVAR.
-Yes honey, your input is important to me.
-No, I don't want anything for Valentine's Day
-Yes, I would love to watch the game with you
And dozens more...
Or were you talking about something else?
pasta I am not talking about the white lies
I know there arer some good guys out there what I am talking about is the big ones you know the I love the kids no I can not see them kind of lies. The I care what happens to you oh I hope you lose everything kinda lies. The I will always be your friend ...until someone better comes along
I get in more 'trouble' for telling the Truth, often the WHOLE Truth, and nothing BUT the Truth, and frankly, people DON'T want to hear it
The biggest ever? We talkin' ego, wallet, or nob?

It's hilarious and witty as hell as a song. And has the bonus of including this fab lyric:
"Do you remember Rick Astley?
He has a big fat hit that was ghastly."
If you don't already know and love Nick Lowe, my God, do what you can to rectify that. And listen to the song; it's so dang clever and good-natured.
Tell me the truth, would you prefer your partner be perfectly honest with you at all times about all things, or would you prefer that he "manage" his communications to fit your sensibilities?
The 'truth' is fascinating, but be careful what you wish for here. It might be far from comforting or 'decent', whatever you're getting at.
You want to do truth? Bring it. I've got nothing but questions.
Arf!
