Hey everybody. I was just wondering if anyone could tell me how to go about getting visitations with my 4 year old son. He lives in a different state, 500 miles away. Is there anyone out there in a similar situation? I pay my child support every month and have never even been late sending it in. I know that there are a lot of variables involved, but are there some general guidelines that the court goes by? My ex-mother-in-law has been telling me for 3 years that I can\'t take a child under the age of 5 out of state. I think she\'s just making it up, but honestly I\'ve never really felt like fighting her until now. Now I regret not sticking up for myself as well as my son.
