Today is my 5 yr. My husband and I have not been in a good place for awhile. I had asked him a month ago to save the date for us to do something together. His response was that he already had plans for the day (not including me) and didn't feel like our marriage was anything to celebrate. I had prepared myself for this day after his response. Made plans with others for the day. Woke up this morning to find a card sitting on the countertop addressed "Happy Anniversary Wife". I left before he was up and didn't open it. Came home later. The card is still sitting there. What do I do with it? He is gone for the day/evening. What is the appropriate response? I have yet to even bother addressing the anniversary to him since he voiced his feelings. What do I do with the damn card? Open it? leave it? What???

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
actions speak louder than words.....
I would open it. I wouldn't feel obligated to respond to him, unless you want to.
Why don't you ask him what it means.
