thank you for all your messages of support.it is now known that only has dave had a status epilepticus that lasted longer than first thought, but he also has a unknown virus on the brain, that caused this type of seizure in the first place.has anybody had such a thing? the sample of fluid off daves brain is still being analysed to find out exactly what it is.he is being treated with antibiotics.although he is off sedation, he has not awoke yet.doctors have forwarned me that because his brain was starved of oxygen they really dont know how he will be affected by this when he wakes up thats if he does wake up.if he doesnt he could be in a persistant vegitative state, not just a coma.if any body has any advice on such matters i would be very grateful.please continue to pray for his recovery..this time he is up against a mountain and not just a brickwall x
