Hi all! My name is Courtney, I am 18, just graduated HS luckily !!!! Well heres the story, january I went snowboarding, my fave thing ever. I had an arrhythmia via my heart codition. I collapsed, stopped breathing. I hit my head as well, I was wearing my hemet luckily. the lack of O2 and the crash, led me to have a "mild tbi" I have trouble holding things like my pen and pencils and forks and processing info. I used to have troube talking and walking for awhile. I go to OT 3xs a week. It is helping my wa;king and everything but I still am having trouble holding things. it is very frustrating. I am supposed to start college in the fall and I am worried that i am not going to do well in school. I just feel so alone, not many people know what its like to go through this kind of stuff. My parents are so supportive but they don't fully understand. Any advice?! thank you guys!
