I WAS WONDERING HOW MANY PEOPLE GET HEADACHES OR MIGRAINES AFTER THEIR BRAIN INJURY? I GET THEM EVERY DAY. HAVE BEEN SINCE 3-2-2006. MY INJURY IS CONSIDERED A MINOR TBI AND AM LEFT WITH A FEW TRAITS OF POST CONCUSSION SYNDROME. MY "HEALING" STOPPED AROUND THE 6 MONTH WINDOW AND IT IS CHRONIC PAIN EVER SINCE. WORST OF ALL IS THAT IT IS A WORKERS COMP INJURY AND THEY REFUSE TO PAY FOR SOME TREATMENTS. MY ATTORNEY AND I ARE GOING TO A HEARING SOON TO GET SOME ISSUES RESOLVED, SOME MEDS THEY DON'T PAY FOR, TREATMENTS, ETC. MY DOCTORS (I HAVE HAD 4 ALLREADY) ALL SAID THAT THE MAJORITY OF HEALING IS COMPLETED IN THE FIRST 6 MONTHS. MOST PCS PATIENTS HAVE ALL THE PROBLEMS DISAPEAR AT THAT TIME. LET ME KNOW WHAT YOUR DOCTORS SAID TO YOU IF YOU GET DAILY HEADACHES FROM A TBI. I AM CURIOUS. I WAS ASLEEP AND WAS WOKEN WITH PAIN. JUST TOOK MY MEDS AND AM KILLING TIME UNTILL I GET TO FALL ASLEEP AGAIN.

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
