Hi. My cousin was in a bicycle accident on Thursday morning. He is currently in induced paralysis. He was non-responsive prior to this. We are just at the beginning of this process. I need to hear about similar experiences and the time-frames before your loved one "woke up". Right now - this feels like a nightmare that won't go away. They have started inducing a hypothermic state to try to reduce his ICP levels. The next step is surgery. They've already done one process where they have drilled holes in his head to help reduce the pressure. I'm terrified and need your stories. Thank you.
