I was just wondering if anyone has had hyperbaric chamber treatments or knows the criteria for them for TBI? This was put as a "bug in my ear" by someone of a different profession, because he thought it might help my son. I am going to research it, but probably not until Tuesday, due to working both jobs from now until then. But I can check this list from my cell phone. So I just thought I would ask if anyone here knew of them. I will also be asking my son's specialist about them. Apparently, there have been some miraculous results with this and it is a relatively new treatment. But I am sure, as with all things, there are certain criteria. I know one of these is that the swelling in the brain must have already resolved. But from what I gather so far is that it is only after the first treatment that they can determine if the brain of the patient is able to regenerate in the areas of damage with the treatments (goodness, I hate speaking of my son in a clinical sense, but it is the only way I know how to deal). Any one know any thing about this treatment? If not when I research it I will post what I found out if you all want to know. Thanks, Kat

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
