Help me those who have had brain injury, my MIL has brain injuries, caused by a brain tumour and the surgery.I pretty much take care of her, tho she lives just down my road,,, She seems to be in denial about the whole thing, laughing alot saying they think ive got cancer....a brain injury, can laughter be part of having damage to the brain, we have been told (& her!) that she will never really be the old her again, but she does not except this, shes just 'waiting' to get better so she can drive etc and get back to normal, no sleeping etc...its really frustrating! she thinks she can do what she used to to do but contines ova and ova making mistakes and then laughing, even her own saftey like leaving ovens on etc its just a big joke to her. Can I help her anyway , did anyone else go through this? ...its been like this for over a year now, is this just part of her injury, not understanding??? PLEASE help for any ideas or suggestuions anything welcome CHEERS!

I gave my 2 week notice last Friday 13th. Now to join you fine people in a life of leisure and nothing else to do but to look out for myself....is it just me or does that sound pretty boring?
