Hey everyone, I'm new to the support group and just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Jill and I've just recently been diagnosed with retinitis pigmentosa. I am legally blind as far as my visual field is concerned but still have central vision. Since last fall I have been through rigorous testing, been diagnosed, stopped driving, lost my job and found myself in a whole new life! I'm seeing a homeopath for natural remedies and support for my general health (we are more than a set of eyes right?)since the doctors offer no help and no hope. I have chosen to go the way of being proactive. I hope to be encouraged and perhaps be an encouragement here.
