I know what you mean. In a couple other support groups, I've found that some people are just negative people and have nothing nice to say, which they should resort back to what we were told as children, "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all! " Right ? lol I just don't reply to those people, well sometimes, I just say "thanks for your advice" or something like that. I always "Kill people with kindness!" LOL It works, it truly does! My momma taught me that in middle school and I've been using it ever since! Just ignore them and be you, Sweetie.

I know what you mean people come here for support. I am Bi and Pansexual. I think everyone has the right to be themselves and they shouldn't have to worry about bashing when they come here.

I would love some input. I am a mom of 4 children who up to now have been straight and the other night my daughter announced she was bisexual. I am standing behind her no matter what but I asked her if she has had a sexual relationship with a female and she wants nothing to do with sex so I am trying to figure out what she is battling with (as far as figuring it out and what things are by description). Being gay, or lesbian, or bisexual or if pansexual all have their hardships due to others judging. She says she doesn't care what sex a person is and that she's attracted to both male and female. She doesn't feel a person should limit because of sexual gender. I'm not saying I won't have to adjust to this new information but I would like to help her with definations. For that cause I would like to understand what a pansexual is. I read things online but would like to hear someone else explain it. I need to be there for my daughter especially when she tells some important people in her life that will be hateful (she doesn't want to hide anything but I advised her to know exactly what she felt before she did). Thank you.

I totally support you! I'm pansexual too! But right now, because of just negativity in general, I am having issues just accepting the concept of bisexuality in regard to myself. It can really mess anyone up, hearing negative comments, especially on a site that's meant to support eachother. I know I can fall into serious depression, and support from people who understand really helps, so if anyone's putting you down, I, and all of us here, are here for you!

it's good to see that i am not the only one who has noticed that this site isn't very supportive. i'm not here to be made fun of, and im not here to play stupid games in the posts like 21 questions. i need help. and im glad that other people who notice that it can push people into depression. i know that's where it lead me cause no one wants to help me. so hopefully by making more people aware it can prevent this for other people.
