Bisexuality Support Group
Bisexuality is a sexual orientation which refers to the aesthetic, romantic, and/or sexual attraction of individuals to other individuals of both their own and the opposite gender or sex. Most bisexuals are not equally attracted to men and women, and may even shift between states of finding either sex exclusively attractive over the course of time.

How many people here have struggled against the common stereotypes of bisexuals?
Have you ever had anyone not believe that you were bi because you didn't seem like the promiscuous type? Maybe you told a close friend that you're bi and then for some reason they got it in their mind that you would be willing to help them live out a fantasy that they have had. Or maybe you told someone you were dating and they immediately dumped you because they figured you couldn't be trusted.
Has anyone else here gone through similar experiences? If so, please share.

I shared in I think the "Bi vs Gay" topic here about my "straight married" friend that I have confided in her in an effort to talk about my "problem" of being married to a man and wanting woman romance and her response has been "Oh, yeah ... hubby and I have been there" as she then told me about how she has shared a bed with a woman for sexual purposes. It was clear it was all about sex for her. She acted as if she was "on the same page" with me and "no big deal". 'How clueless of her,' I thought. I've tried to explain to her that it is about more than sex but I think she cannot relate so she relates in the best way she can, which is about sex only. I think initially she thought I was trying to approach her about us possibly having sex but I didn't go there about it. She has said that she can "help me with my problem" and then I knew she was clueless about it. Oh, PLEASE! I have avoided any advance with her in this department. I think she has finally determined that I am just talking a bunch of bologna when I tell her I am gay or bi. Only because I don't think it's all about the sex and that I don't want to have sex with just "any" woman. I recently talked to straight man since I've been married and asked the question seriously (after he unsuccessfully tried to arrange a threesome experience for his own satisfaction watching two women) if he really thought he could be married to a bi woman - I kind of put him on the spot and tried to "de-glamourize" the benefits bisexuality he had in his mind and asked him what would he do if he learned his wife was bisexual? He actually stopped and gave me a few serious minutes on it and told me he would have a problem with it and wouldn't have married her if he found out she was bisexual.

Yeah, I haven't told alot of people that I'm bi ( I'm in my early stages =] ), but I do have that fear of people thinking that makes me slutty or something. To them, bi doesn't mean I'm attracted to either sex, it means I don't care who or when, lol. Right now, the people I decide to tell, I just say that I'm definitely not straight, but if a wonderful person walked into my life, I wouldn't care if they are a guy or a girl.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
