Bisexuality is a sexual orientation which refers to the aesthetic, romantic, and/or sexual attraction of individuals to other individuals of both their own and the opposite gender or sex. Most bisexuals are not equally attracted to men and women, and may even shift between states of finding either sex exclusively attractive over the course of time.

A deep longing accompaniedby the deepest Love some days. The heavy fog mayreturn and the next day, it may recede.Once again, it's...

Today is my 25th birthday, to my somewhat lack of surprise I can see already no one really seems to care. I've always been the kinda person to make sure that everyone I Care about feels appreciated and knew somebody had their back. I can count 4 times this year when I Went out of my way to make sure a "friend" felt good on their birthday, especially if they got left hanging. Its early in the...
It is hard for me to understand why any parent would reject their child over sexual orientation. All I can say is that they really have no clue the damage that does, let alone how hard it can be to 'get over'. I applaud your courage and I hope you will find it within yourself to stand tall and be true to yourself even though your father has shut you out. Maybe over time, he will realize that you are going to be who you are, no matter what he thinks. For him, this is a profound moral dilemma, one he has never had to deal with. He simply doesn't know how to deal with it, so he has pushed you away. Also, you are asserting your independence from both of your parents. This usually causes some disruption in the family. Nearly EVERYBODY goes through that:)
I don't know if anything I have said will help or not, but I hope it does. Take care, Tash, and keep your chin up. You'll respect yourself more for it later on.
Also, depending on what your families religious affliation is? The wait for your father to "come around" might be a long time, at this point I would celebrate your bold step into authenticity and find joy in it for YOU! This is after all about YOU and no one else. Take pride in who you are and show it to the world.
Nice to meet you my sister!

You are part of the new generation who can openly admit to being bi. The vast majority of people over 40 think that we are freaks. I hid my status for 45 years. You have to remember that not everyone is going to accept you for what you are. It must be very painful that your father does not accept this. You can only live your life and give him time to come around.
Good luck
