Why do they give a BP person a medication that will cause them to gain weight, therefore causing more depression? Can't they do something about that side affect? If they can't, then let's stop the meds and eat chocolate all day.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. It costs around a billion dollars to make a new drug. It's testing on rats, pigs, monkeys is long and huge. Then their are the patients.
Each new successful bipolar medication is a money tree, they are working on hundreds/thousands right now.
But like LSD, which was used to cure alcoholics and for depression, there are failures.
I would sneak bags of Peanut M&Ms to work and put them in my coffee. All day long. And yes, they do melt.
I really love ice cream and have found that if I eat bluebell sugar free vanilla/chocolate and add SF cool whip and walnuts it tastes like rocky road.
