Ever been so wrapped up in all the hassles and ups/downs of Bipolar that you forget to pay attention to other parts of your health? Just got back from the hospital where an ambulance took him with chest pains. They treated him like a drug addict because he had just taken his Seroquel and Trileptal and was slurring badly. Then they wouldn't let me in with him at the ER because they thought he was hiding something and wanted to get it out of him.
I WAS SO PISSED!!! Four hours later his fever was down to 101 and he was a little more lucid and less slurry. I got a few apologies but I'm still really aggravated. After all, he has pneumonia and was admitted to the hospital.
We payed so much attention to all the side effects and problems with the BP meds that we totally didn't even notice him getting sick in other ways.... :( BTW, how long do people usually stay in the hospital for pneumonia?

A friend sent this to me..As far as I can see, grief will never truly end.It may become softer overtime, more gentleand some days will feel sharp. But grief will last as long as Love does - ForeverIt's simply the way the absence of your loved onemanifests in your heart. A deep longing accompaniedby the deepest Love some days. The heavy fog mayreturn and the next day, it may recede.Once again, it's...
