Not only does it affect me socially, it affects me financially. I have been turned down from jobs because of this illness. If having a decent job, a nice place and a family meant "sucking it up" and putting on a good face for everyone despite my true emotions than that's what I would have done a long time ago.
I'd give anything to be NORMAL, alot of those people do not really know what it feels like to suffer daily. Yes, normies have occassional ups and downs, but with all the med hype and advertisements giving out symptoms, it makes it easy for someone to say that they are bp when they are not in order to get what i mentioned above.
I was goth in the 90's (haha, quaker boarding school, only goth!)
and stopped when I had kids (didn't want to scare them) as soon as I stopped it became popular....damnit, I got beat up for nothing!!!
I think it's cos beepers are probibly more adventurous than others fashion wise, in mania anyway.....so maybe we are the trend setters! The madonnas of life haha.
She's rich and goes to therapists just to fill out her bland life.Sad.
