I don't know about anyone else, but I feel that my doctor is giving me too much medication. By the time I wake up till I go to bed, I am a complete zombie, plus all the other side effects like being sick to my stomach and headaches. I asked my doc to reduce it but he won't, and if I try to stop taking them he will put me in the hospital, so Idon't know what to do??? any advice???

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
I decide what is best for me.
I live with myself. I have tested many meds. I know after all these years what works.
To hell with the doc if they don't want to listen to how you feel.
Perhaps a new one would have a different and fresh perspective on your situation or more respect for your input.
Please do yourself a big favor and check out other doctors. Its not easy to cope with bipolar when you do find a doctor that will listen to what your saying and not just to give a bunch of pills so you don't have to keep botherin him so just settle with a doctor that tells you , you need to stay on all the pills . There are doctors who treat bipolar and do listen and will work with you to help ease the pain
200mg of zoloft
2.25 mg of xanax
10mg of prolyxen
But i HAVE to have them or i am a complete mess like rightnow..
I'm new here and just read your post and how much meds you're taking. It is probably the doses are a little too high? Have you tried to ask him if he can lower some of it?
I wish you luck in finding a new doctor that will listen to you and give more of his/her time to see you as a person. Listen to your instinct.
Goodluck,
:-)
