I gave my 2 week notice last Friday 13th. Now to join you fine people in a life of leisure and nothing else to do but to look out for myself....is it just me or does that sound pretty boring? My goal was to live to retire and I guess having to take early retirement because of health reasons wasn't exactly the way I had planned things. I just can't stay in that building that is reeking mildew...

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
Must be my internal clock sorry.
OMG someone said they hate when they're walking in a public place and someone stops right in front of them with no warning...I hate that too! But most especially I HATE when I'm trying to get on a subway or train and someone does that...just stops and you can't even get on the train and meanwhile you are gonna MISS the damn thing(or get caught and killed by it) I just push past people who do that. I HATE them! Then they yell that I don't say excuse me well dude you nearly got me killed or made me miss my train. Get over it.
I HATE when people get all officious with me when I'm venting about something that yes, is very normal and happens all the time, but it still sucks and I'm allowed to vent and telling me "That's the way it is" really makes me feel worse.
The cell phone thing in cars too, ugh, how obnoxious!
People who casually back out of things they committed to, like dinner plans with you..."Oh by the way I can't do it, hope you understand!" Yeah, whatever.
Good thread!
